The beans themselves are larger and more irregularly shaped compared to Arabica and Robusta beans.
  4. Excelsa Beans: Excelsa beans, also known as Coffea excelsa or Coffea liberica var. dewevrei, are another less common type of coffee bean. They are primarily grown in Southeast Asia and are known for their distinct flavor profile, which often includes fruity and spicy notes with a hint of tartness. Excelsa beans are often used in blends to add complexity and depth to the flavor profile of the coffee.

These four types of coffee beans represent the main varieties available in the market, each with its own unique characteristics and flavor profiles. However, within each type, there are numerous cultivars and regional variations that further contribute to the diversity of coffee flavors worldwide.
